Queery Tales (2023)
Gold plated silver, cold enamel, agate, artificial gemstones
Drawing on speculative fabulation, Queery Tales reactivates LGBTQ+ symbols, chromatic codes, and gestures of resistance, translating memory into wearable form. Candy jars float, beards become comic masquerades,
melodies crystallise into gem-like constellations. Through wearing, jewellery becomes performative historiography, staging encounters between bodies, objects, and viewers. Gold-plated silver, cold enamel, gemstones, and rainbow colour rework jewellery’s language through queer pride. In a ludic framework, irony and play destabilise patriarchal symbols, opening utopian imagination.
